Tiger Canyons is an ex-situ conservation project.
It is an attempt to
create a model, which can be replicated elsewhere.
The model has a
tourist, a research, a communication and a socio economic
				component.
-
An exciting
tourist destination is being created where people from all
over the world can visit to view, photograph and be inspired
					by the free ranging tigers.
-
A range of
experiments are being conducted daily, to further the
				understanding of this magnificent predator.
-
Through wild life
documentary films and the Tiger Canyon website, the daily lives
of the tigers and the people who live there, are recorded and
				communicated to a global audience.
-
JV believes that for
Tiger Sanctuaries to thrive and expand, the rural people who live
and work in the same ecosystem as the tigers, must benefit from the
			sanctuaries.
