Ron

At time of writing, Ron is 10 years old. He
is the dominant male at Tiger Canyons.
A magnificent athletic male, he weighs in the
region of 210 kg.
Born in the USA, Ron was one of the stars of
the film, Living with Tigers.
Ron carries the rare white gene and recently
mated with Tigress Shadow, producing 4 cubs from
the union.
A superb hunter, Ron has single handedly
killed several eland bulls.

Julie
|
Julie is a 10 year old tigress and full
sister to Ron. Tigress Julie is the most
experienced hunter at Tiger Canyons. JV has been
able to film more than 300 hunts with her on
foot.
Tigress Julie recently alowed JV to sit in
her den while giving birth to 3 cubs, 1 white
and 2 normal.

Shadow
 |
Shadow is a 3,5 year old tigress with a dark
coat and perhaps the most beautiful of all the
tigers at Tiger Canyons.
After maring with Ron in 2008, she produced
on the 9th of January 2009, four normal coloured
cubs. Unfortunately she sat on one cub, killing
it, but three cubs survived.
One of her surviving cubs was caught in a
wire snare but JV was able to free it.
